: Questions about C4 rear disc setup

I am going to a c4 front disc setup and now looking at the rear disc details to replace my drums. I have some questions about the e-brake setup.

Is the e-brake identical to the f-body 93-97? Meaning that the mechanism is on the caliper and not a nested shoes system like the 98+.

Will I need to have my axle flange turned down for the c4 rotor? I was informed that the f-body version will require that, same for corvette?

Thanks Joe for responding to my questions earlier.

Hmmmm John, you've got me looking at my parts books.

Looks like the '93-'97 F-body caliper carries the same part number "loaded" (& unloaded) as the '89-'92 F-body setup and the 1LE third gen. F-bodies. Sorry, for some reason they don't have a part number for the C4 brakes :( But!!!

Here's an exploded "view" (http://hometown.aol.com/diels1/ParkingBrake) of the Corvette/Camaro/Firebird/TransAm pbr rear caliper w/parking brake.

I'm willing to bet (educated guess here) the C4 rear discs are just directional as opposed to the '89-'97 setup???
