I am wondering how these work, do they replace the coilsprings and how do they perform. Does any one have them on their Chevelle.

There was never a shock made that would replace your coil springs, a shock was made to control the bounce in a coil spring, not replace it!

as far as these go , I have never seen them befor and can't give an opinion on them as a shock.

From what I read, these are just normal shocks made be Tokico. The picture that they are showing are front and rear struts for an import car.

FWIW- Tokicko makes a lot of stuff for 5.0 Mustangs and have quite a name built for themselves as an awesome handling shock.
