I have ran a few searches on aftermarket disc brake kits. But I really wasn't able to find what I wanted to know.

Baer,SSBC,Wilwood,Mpbrakes,Etc......

What is the best kit for front and rear disc brakes as far as price, quality ,and installation ease.

I like the price of the SSBC calipers but are they any good???? The Baer kits are great looking but are they worth the $$$$ Wilwood seems to be priced resonably but can they handle the abuse of stop and go driving???

Any disc brake gurus who can chime in ,it will be much appreciated.

BTW my application is stock front discs with rear drums with c-clip eliminator axles.

The 'heavy duty' front disc brake kit from Wilwood (uses their Dynalite calipers) is super easy to install and work very well for in-town driving. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. You're right though, there are alot of choices out there on the market.

They're all pretty good, as well as your stock discs are pretty good for normal in-town driving. Maybe they just need rebuilt? I have a 67 with the 13" Baer Track front discs and talking to a Baer rep at CB last year, he said rear discs are really a waste of money for the extra stopping power you "may" get. They have 'em, he would have been happy to sell me a pair but for the money, there's not much return. Asthetically, yeah they'd be a good match for the front discs.

Used an "MP Brakes" kit on mine, and was very easy to install, and very complete. Other than fabbing new lines, a bolt on.

I've got a Classic Performance Parts kit that looks good. Waiting for some control arms before I put it in. However, it is about as "complete" as I've seen. Even comes with all the hard lines required and instructions.

I have the MP brakes kit too. 12" rotor, 4 piston caliper (JL8) option on the front and 11" drums on the rear. Easy install with my GW upper and lower control arms. :D
