Traded out some sandblasting work for work on my fenders and deck lid, got them back this week....figured if i stacked them against the wall, or left them under the work bench, they would get damaged for sure, went to Lowes and bought big rubber coated hooks, shaped sorta like a big letter "J".....screwed them into wall about 4 ft up and hung fenders and deck, also took SS hood out of box and hung it up on wall for added safety, also good looking art. This way when someone comes by and ask "how's the bodywork coming".....i'll just point at the wall .An added benefit is it covers up some of my crappy sheetrock finishing:cool:

I was thinking of using hooks to store my old hood and spare deck lid. Do the panels seem like the are going anywhere hanging on the hooks?

I hung the Hood for my '54 belair project from the rafters in the garage with steel cables and clamps. The material was leftovers from projects at work.
