I just got a 9" for my 66 from a 71 torino. Should work out pretty good once I get the spring perches and control arm mounts welded on--so that's my question. Anyone in the Iowa region know someone with the jig for this that'll weld these pieces on for me?

BOBCAT, check www.quickperformance.com (http://www.quickperformance.com) web site. & 285 is for narrowing and jigging the rear end housing to fit your car, that includes the housing. I have a rear from a 85 lincoln w/ factory disc, he qouted me $200 to do the same using my housing. They are located in Gilbert Iowa, north of Ames 515-232-0126. Alot of dirt trackers do the same swap for there stock cars, but they use the metric cars-80's malibu, montes ect. The brackets are the same, but there shock mount location is moved in more. Your housing I think is wider than your stock housing.Check w/ a chassis builder in the waterloo area they may do this, there are a few here in the des moines area. Quicks includes paint and they look nice
REVS HI, I had a fellow say that you can get a housing off of the 80's montes, malibu and other GM equals and torch the brackets to use on you dana 60. You might check w/ quick they may sell them?? Hope this helps both.. Randy

Thanks for the information. I went down and got a housing from quick performance today and it looks excellent. I definitely recommend dealing with these guys for any of your needs. Turns out that they had a housing on hand with the perches and narrowed for cheaper than just modifying mine. Again, thanks for the pointer.
