Up early here. Just changed the oil in the Elky and a new K&N Filter. Trying to do a few things I did not get to do yesterday. Gathered more SBC crap to take to Brian, the new Count of Monte Carlo. Off to work in a bit. Will load-up when I get back from work.

3) remove front sway-bar
4) remove rear seat
5) remove front bumper
6) remove inner fenders
7) install racing seat
8) charge bottle
9) set timing

I have installed rocket assist, pounded on the frame so more rust drops off, etc. Wife still asleep, taking the day off, so I can't get too wild in the garage or side of the house.

MSD 6AL2 Digital is in with HVC II coil and pro billet distributor with timing locked. Started it last night just before 2100 and everything is working, even the stock blinker tach. Waiting for the locals to get up so I can finish the tune.

Lift bars are off. It was a long night.

Really late notice, but Brian may not get there until up to 6 o'clock and he's loaning me his helmet for the day. Would anybody else happen to have an extra helmet I could borrow if he doesn't make it there until late?

When you break the mark, as long as you have a helmet on I doubt they'll check the date.

Have you ever noticed that on race day things just do not go as you planned :mad:.

I have had a modified 750 Eddie running on my car now for a week, not a problem at all. now that race day is here it starts to bog again at the transition between primaries and the secondaries :sad:.

So I am pulling it off and putting my old 600 back on. I will bring the 750 to the track for further testing :yes:.
