just did the rear bushings now looking to do the front. When getting prices, ive been asked if the lower bushings are oval or round. Not sure how to exactly tell the difference since they aren't in stock. A quick glance seemed to indicate they are round. After work tommorrow Ill take a closer look.Any hints would be helpful.
Also been trying to locate a set of rear springs for my 68. One leans a little so im trying to make things on the level. Tried two different brands, same result. The springs are about1-1 1/2
insch too short after the suspension is completely bolted up. I can pull them in and out freely. Ive used Moog and Perfect Circle any different brands to suggest? Used both before on different applications without problems.

They used both round and oval bushings on the 68 - 72 cars. There is no reason other than suppliers. Some companies send both when you order a kit. Some cars have one of each due to repairs over the years so look at both sides.

I'm not sure what to say about the rear spring issue but it is not unusual for one side to be higher or lower than the other for many reasons including problems with the FRONT suspension or a sagging front cross member. The other common cause is a bent upper perch. There are easy fixes such as using two upper pads on the low side.

One thing for sure is they should not be moving at all if the car is sitting on the pavement.
