Has anybody ever adapted the 1980 Trans Am rear disc setup to their Chevelle 12-Bolt. I have the whole setup for the TA, including the Prop Valve and master/booster combo. Just wondering if anybody has done this and if I could get some pointers or measurements for any adapter plates I might need. I believe the 10 bolt the brakes are on has the same 4 bolt backing plate measurements as the drum 12 bolt backing plate, so that shouldn't be an issue. Just concerned with the distance between axle stub distance and bracket location. Before anybody tells me to look in the archives, I already beat you to it. Thanks for any help, guys.

Hello, anybody out there? I can hear the tumbleweeds rolling down the road...

Pretty common old swap, works well compared to 9" drums.

Are you sure you want to go with this system? There are better rear disc systems out there for the money.

I was going to use it only because I have it already, and it HAS to be better than the stock drums. It looks cooler, too.
