I am putting on my new McQuay-Norris suspension rebuild kit and am having trouble with the upper ball joint. I was able to get the old ones off and am now trying to figure out how to fit the new ones in. In the diagram it shows that the boot retainer, boot, and ball joint all install in through the top. But the hole in the control arm is not big enough to fit the boot retainer. The supplied bolts are also to big for the bolt holes in the arm. I did read to drill out the holes in another forum, but what do I do about the boot reatiner not fitting right. Do I install it in from the bottom or do I enlarge the hole? Thanks
