Just ordered front and rear bars for my 65. I got the front in (pain in the A) went to do the rear and there were no holes in the trailing arms. Am I supposed to drill my own? Or? Thanks for your help

you dont have boxed arms do you?

If you don't, then yes you can drill them, but definitely put some kind of spacer in between the U shape bends so you dont collapse the lower control arms.

What Matt said is critical to your install, but that's the minimum you would need to do to get them in the car. You will not see the benefit of the rear sway bar unless you swapped out the control arms or boxed them with the available kits which must be welded in place.

I have stock trailing arms, the u shaped ones. Would a piece of half inch pipe cut to fit work alright?

Would probably keep it from folding or collapsing but when the kits to do it right are so cheap or easy enough for someone with welding and fab skills to make (and given your handle "allwelded") why not order them up and do it the right way?

I ran my el camino this way for a year or two with no problems. It is up to you if you want to box them or not, but if you don't atleast do that.
