I would like to install c-clips and new axles but I have heard that they leak and are just a mess on street cars, does anyone run the street/strip ones from Strange and if so how are they as far as leaking and stuff. I want to do some racing and for a safty thing I would feel better with the eliminators, but first and formost it is a street car. Any opinions, thanks. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/sprachlos/speechless-smiley-019.gif

I'm going to use the Moser eliminators to get mine running, but I think I'm going to sell it and get a complete new rearend with Ford ends,4.10's,and a spool, just because I drive it on the street, actually depends on how much of my money Uncle Sam gives me back :D

What does it take to put the Ford ends on? I've got a spare 12-bolt I'd like to do that to. Another question is, would it be easy/cost effective to narrow the rear 1-2" at that time? I'm assuming you need to I'm assuming you're buying new axles, and doing some modifications to the end of the tube when you do that, so narrowing should just be a matter of getting the right length axles, correct???

The Strange ones work great .... the Moser style are hit and miss re leaks depends how much and how you drive your car..side load is the issue .... if you have a choice go Strange, but you will need their axles FWIW
