I finally found a wiring harness for my 68 wiper motor which plugged in nicely but how do the other ends attach to the wiper switch? The black wire is obviously ground but the other blue wires? Which one is the power source? I have one wire marked wiper motor from the painlees wiring harness in the car so would that one be the power source or do i need another ignition source? Tha single wire what does it do? What type of ends attach to the switch it self? It is a 2 speed system. Iam learning wiring so go easy on me lol. I took pics but it says iam not allowed to attach pics?

Wiper motors typically have an constant +12v IGN supply (yellow) the wiper switch only switches ground for the 2 speeds and washer pump (dark blue, black and light blue)
Those are the factory colors.
Hope that helps.

I just did a new motor on my '69. If the '68 is the same, here is how mine is wired. On the motor, there are three verticle connections. Top one is light blue, middle is yellow(power), and bottom one is black. The top and bottom are grounds for the two speed wiper. On the washer, there are two horizontal connections, dark blue on the left and yellow (power) on the right. Hope this helps. If you need more, I can send you a pic.

Thanks for the replies. So last question the dark blue, light blue and black are the 3 wires that attach to the back of the switch? The ground will ground off the switch? Ya i know simple questions but iam learning.
