Alright I got some PB blaster and it worked like a charm on the upper control arm bolts, unfortunately I had already cut the threaded side of the lower bolts off so i can't pound them out, I have to cut. I dropped the housing (pic 1) and now I need to rotate it backwards (cover facing the floor) so I can have easy access to cut off the lower bolts. BTW I tried using a punch and a hammer and they won't come out. Now my problem is I can't rotate it because of what I think is the parking brake cable. I cannot remove this without removing the axles which I do NOT want to do until I have the housing out from underneath the car. My question is how big of a deal is it to cut these cables (one on each side) to get the rear to rotate like it needs to? I never used the parking brake and probably won't I live in the midwest (no hills) and the car will be an automatic. If there IS a way to get it off without taking the axles out please let me know. Otherwise I would appreciate some advice on what to do next. Thanks a ton in advance! See pics labeled rear, cable, and bolt. (http://jimmysashstrat.tripod.com/guitars)

The parking brake cable has a really simple disconnect farther up the framerail towards the front of the car. follow the line from the connection at the rear wheels towards the front. It should be just a wire that fits inside a small clip. Disconnect the cables further up, and leave the connection to the brake as it is. Hope this helps.

The parking brake cable also needs to be disconnected where it goes through the frame. There will be some kind of a c- clip which attaches the cable to the frame. Look where the cable goes through the frame and on the inside (driveshaft side) right against the frame is where the clip will be. Then follow up the cable about a foot further and you will find the disconnect that Nick is talking about. Once you have these things unclipped you can pull the cable back out through the frame. Repeat on the other side.

Come back if you have further questions.
