Hey everyone, I'm new to the boards.
I'm in the process of a 71 Malibu Chevelle build up.

I have a rearend off of a 85 Monte Carlo SS. I also have the discs and calipers off of a 85 Camaro Z28 rearend that I put on the Monte Carlo rearend. (also 3.73gear and posi) I'm going to put that rearend on the Chevelle and also get front disc brakes. What kind of Master Cylinder and Brake Booster do you think I will need for this setup?

I don't think the 85 Monte rear will fit in your Chevelle, unless you're doing some custom work.

To answer your question, search around on this (http://www.geocities.com/diels12000/) webpage to see what Joe has been up to. This should at least get you started. Once you get the proper rear end, you will be able to transfer the brakes over to it. You may even be able to transfer the 3.73 posi, too, but don't quote me on that one.
