I am going to replace my straight six and going to put a 396 big block what do i need to replace for me to do that?

Oh my.

New coil springs *might* be in order, but then again. It's not absolutely necessary unless your current springs are completely collapsed.

Your question looks as though you are asking what needs to be replaced when swapping motors, although the thread title is front suspension? Confusion, I have found you.

Im going out on a limb here, but I think he's talking about what kind of suspension pieces need replaced. IE: shocks, springs, TRE's, ect.. not what engine parts.

Yeah, I kindof eluded to that, just poking fun at his scattered thread. But, thread topic related, you don't have to replace any piece of the suspension per-se. It will sit lower in the front with the 6cyl coil springs. I haven't heard of anyone replacing suspension components due to engine swaps, except for exotic swaps.
