I am upgrading my whole suspension on my 67 chevelle, and i wanted to also lower the car. I know there are drop spindles available and also lowering springs. can i do either or? Or do I need to purchase drop spindles and lowering springs? if i can do either or, which way do you guys recommend? any advise is helpful, thanks

I used the Eibach spring kit along with IAS shocks and 17" Boyd wheels. Plus, then I threw in a big block up front.
It's about as low as it needs to go and still be comfortable driving around town. Too many hills, steep driveways, and speed bumps in this town.

70-77 camaro spindles plus you get disc brakes and more camber all while dropping 1.5-2"

Using two inch drop spindles will help lower the front and using lower springs in the rear is also a good idea. Just remember to be safe, and don't cut any corners because doing it wrong could kill you. They make complete kits for lowering your car; I went with Global West and I'm very happy with the results except I had to use Shorty headers on my '67 because full length headers were about an inch into the ground.
