What are my options for lower bars that relocate the IC for my 70 chevelle?

I ordered dick miller bars 10 days ago and I called today and he doesnt have any even though he said they would ship the next day... I sure wish he knew how to use that nifty little invention called a phone!

I called summit on the SSM bars and they said they quit carring them because they could never get them! So I called them (SSM) today and the phone rang for a while then the answering machine came on saying he memory is full! Man, sometimes you just can't win.

So, what are my options in getting something quick?

don't the adjustable uppers arms do the same thing as the SSM bars? Isn't it the same thing(changing the pinion angle?) just the adjustment is made on the upper arms instead of the lower ones?

Everybody and their brother seems to make the adjustable upper arms... Hotchkis, Globlal West, BMR, SSM, metco, heck even Jegs sells one under their brand.

A buddy of mine used the Edelbrock no hop bars with thier adjustable upper arms. They looked great and he is very happy with how they worked. He allready had the Edelbrock lowers.

Exactly the problem I had this week!!
I'm looking for rear suspension parts for my '70.

First called DM...was transfered to an electronic mailbox that disconnected me! On my dime! :mad:
Then called AM...got a recording that all sales personel were busy. Talked to the receptionist who said they were all in a sales meeting. Tried 3 hrs later, same results. :mad:
Forget SSM...they've at least temporarly closed shop from what Summit had said. graemlins/sad.gif

FINALLY, got a hold of BMR and ordered upper adjustable and lower arms. Shipping in TWO weeks. :rolleyes:
Still looking for somebody's no-hop type bars and braces to purchase.

AWSOM70 - Adjustable uppers only let you alter your pinion angle, I'm looking to change the instant center.

I cant go nohop bars because I have a ford 9" in there, so it looks like the only answere is lowers.
