Currently have drum all around. Buddy has a set of front disc all new parts he said I could have for $150. They were for his lemans I believe. Just stock components. Thats new ball joints top and bottom, new rotors, and new calipers. He claims they should bolt up with no modifcations to my 72 chevelle. Is that true? He also thought my stock master cylinder and perportioning valve would be okay with that too. Is this also true? If so I'm going to snatch them up and throw them on my chevelle before I make the maiden voyage.

Thanks all!

The brake kit will fit. If you have drum brakes all round you have a distribution block, not a proportion valve. You will have to add a proportion valve in place of the distribution block.

You will also need the disc/drum master cylinder.

So, the booster is fine? I can get the mc from the parts store but, they dont sell the pv.

Also, is the drum/disc mc and pv the same as the 4 wheel disc?

No, get a Vette MC and prop valve.

From what year vette? I just thought if I got the 4 wheel pv and mc I wouldn't have to buy those again if I ever decide to go 4 wheel disc. If I use the 4 wheel disc mc and pv will it still work fine if I have rear drum? I think drum takes more presure but, maybe its disc.
