I have a 72 chevelle with a factory Turbo 350 and i was wondering how hard it is to convert it to a Manual be it a 4 speed or an updated 5 or 6 speed transmisson. I know i would need the basics like an extra pedel and driveshaft. I was just wondering if anyone has done a conversion like this before and how hard it was. I am pretty handy with my car too. I really would like to go with a 5 or 6 speed transmission. i was also wondering if anyone had good places to get parts and transmission parts. and the motor is a 350 SB thats 60 over and kinda wild.

BTW; there are quite a few on here that have done this conversion.. It's straight forward with a factory 4-speed or 5-speed type trans, But a little more in depth when you start looking a transmissions like the Tremek.
