i have a powerglide in my malibu (column shifted)...if i wanted to convert to a factory style floor shifter ....what type of shift linkage or rods are involved / required to complete the task?

the reason i ask this...is because i have a hurst v-matic 2 to install; it seems difficult to install because of my limited mechanical abilities which are now pretty slim because of a stroke which i survived...so i've been toying with the idea of selling the hurst on ebay and getting a factory style floorshifter to simplify my life.
