The rear lower control arms on my '70 SS are boxed and I know it was originally an SS but I am not sure that these arms are original. I am redoing my front and rear suspension with PST polygraphite and will be powder coating most of the components. I would like to make sure that these control arms are correct before I powdercoat them. You can see the welds very clearly on the lower section where they are boxed. Are the original lower boxed sections where they are welded kind of primative looking as far as the welding goes. Mine are not welded the full length of the arm but rather in 3 seperate places a couple of inches long each. I would really love a picture or two of an original boxed arm. Thanks a lot for the help! Yellow,
I believe these are the original control arms on my 72 SS. The car came with the F41 suspension option so I am assuming these are the orignals. Ill post some pics below. I am sure that there is some "Guru" around here that will be able to tell if they are original or not. graemlins/beers.gif

Mine look nothing like Jamie's. Mine have welds that are clearly noticeable. Anybody with a '70 care to comment or post a photo. Thanks
