I finally got my 65 painted, after starting on the body 4 years ago. It's been a while since I took it apart, and have forgotten the proper sequence to get the door back together.

What is the proper order to re-install the vent windows, the door glass, regulators, trim, weather stripping, fuzzies, etc.

Also, if I installed the vent windows prior to the door glass, would I have to remove the vent windows to get the door glass in?

TIA,

Wes

I just did my 66 Elky

1st----door latches/lock buttons/remote rod----as an assy.
2nd---door handle-----and adjust striker if not already done.
3rd----window regulator
4th---on HT/Conv, the vent assy should be installed and adjusted.
(side glass can go in after the vent on HT/Conv-------sideglass before vent)

5th----As for weatherstripping and glass runs----on the elky I had enough room to slide the glass back and forth to install the glass runs. Don't forget the rear lower run.
6th----Outer window 'fuzzie'
7th----Inner 'fuzzie'

That's how I did it on my 66 ---- the HT/Convert should not be that much different
