: PBR?

A potentially dumb question. After doing a lot of research on front and rear disk brake conversions, I've seen PBR come up a lot and not one post has said what that means. What does PBR mean? All I know is its a type of caliper.

Thanks,
Kevin C

Kevin,

PBR aluminum calipers were outfitted on GM's high-end suspension optioned cars. They're produced in Australia, and are a great bolt-on swap to upgrade early iron with.

Thanks for the responses. I was thinking something with peanut butter but couldn't come up with the last part. What is the advantage with having these calipers? Are these multiple piston type calipers? What cars came with these? How would you identify one of these calipers?

Thank you,

Kevin C
