I am going to try to borrow my dads digital camera on the weekend and ill try to post some pics for you, If you painted them black im sure they would look just as good but the finish of the powdercoat is very durable and wont chip when rocks get to them....

well my teacher media blasted sand actually one pair the pass side. the driver side we just said screw it and hot tanked it or solvent cleaned it what ever it was. some kind of solvent and cleaned most of it that way. ill paint it afterwards 2marrow prob. and we pounded the stuff in even tho there was a press right there. dont ask me why. anyway i cracked some of the bushing off is it still ok? he said it was. but this teacher is like a mcgyver and likes redneck engineeering.

Jocww,
Definetly powder coat them. It is pretty damn hard to chip a good powdercoat job. It took me about 10 mins each bushing to grind off the powder where the bushings get inserted, and that was using a dremel tool. Here are 2 pics of my control arms, I used a cool Candy Blue Powder Coat.
