Trying to get a consensus of my latest barn find. I am new here and look forward to hearing from anyone. It's a 65 ss convertible with numbers matching 283 4 speed. The stock 2 bbl sure is a blast from the past:noway: Car is 100% original, yet runs and drives incredile. Car is solid (frame rails/ dog legs/ etc..), however it does have typical rust on lower quarters / rockers/ doors and it needs a new trunk lid. Car is maroon with white interior and white top. I picked it up for $7,400 cash. Any thoughts (good or bad) are appreciated!

I think you did OK. It does not get much better than a Numbers Matching Convertible SS. I love the color combo too. My 64 SS is Palomar Red with a Red and White Interior. Please keep us updated with photos. Good Luck with your new SS.
