I am having my power booster rebuilt and replated.

Was wondering if anyone has had any expierence with POR's new clear coat product Glisten PC. Reason being I am thinking of coating my master cylinder and booster with this stuff. The only thing that disturbs me is that it is a water based product that takes several days to cure. Wondering if rust would activate underneath while it was curing.

If your having your booster replated, it rust shouldn't be a problem. Thats what the plating is for. I have never used it, I would test it on unimportant first and see how it looks. Then tell everyone here how it turned out. With that situation I would be personally partial to just using a spray on clear coat. I would be surprised if even a POR 15 clear coat could hold up to brake fluid. That stuff eats everything.
