Is there a big difference in a 12 bolt rear end for a pickup vs a 12 bolt for a car?

Yep! Besides them all being leaf spring rear ends and not having the ears on the housing, they are also too wide and the internals are different. Turns out, from what I'm told, the truck rearend pieces/parts are not as strong as the car ones either.

Yes, I looked into that swap also... :D
