While the body is off, I am trying to get the frame portion done. EVERYTHING got powder coated, so while the body is getting some prelim body work, I want to assemble what I should. I have ran all the brake/fuel lines and the chassis is rolling, all the brakes are hooked up. The motor and trans are hooked up, exhaust I may wait till the body is back, to ensure the pipes come out where i want them. ANyone have any other ideas?

I like the link, one question for anyone that will listen. Does anyone have pics of exhaust (SS style out the back bumper) installed while a frame off. I am looking at doing mine prior to paint

Why not bolt the bumper on temporary, that should give you a good idea where the tailpipes will be.

Good idea Tom. When I did my 67 I orderd a Gardner exhaust for it so I wouldn't have any fit problems when putting the body back on the frame.

I am in pretty much the same place, finalizing all of the small stuff before dropping the body back on.
Doing ANYTHING that can be done while the body is still off (especially exhaust) vs. under the car is about 300% easier and 1000% less frustrating than doing it later.
I am installing the exhaust now and even with the body off, it is a pain.
When I am done with all the small stuff, I will be "shrink wrapping" the completed chassis, engine, trans, exhaust, etc. to keep it from the "wrath" of bodywork.
