Well after contemplating for a while I finally pulled the trigger and bought a set of UMI rear control arms with the uppers being adjustable and the lowers tubular. They came in last saturday and I just got them in tonight. They are great looking pieces and I am very happy with them so far. I also have to say these are the craziest bubble wrapped pieces I have ever seen come out of a shipping box, Bravo to whoever wraps these things up for shipping!
I haven't adjusted pinion angle yet because I don't have a device to check it. I just set them at stock length for now just so I can take it around the block.
After just a short cruise down the road I can already tell it they stiffened some stuff up out back. They did replace the original arms that looked like they had the vintage '72 rubber bushings in them so it made quite a big difference. I was also able to now bolt on my chevelle stock 7/8 rear sway bar which also probably stiffened things up.
With the rear out I took the time to clean it up a bit, install new fluid, new U-joints in the driveshaft, and now its back together. For my first time pulling a rear end It didnt turn out too bad.
heres the pics of everything.

Dont look at the rear end cover though!!! I have a replacement on it's way, it'll look better in a couple weeks :)
