I ordered a set of these from opgi---original style, and I have an issue with them.

The outers are just a rubber lip seal (like the originals), but I cannot decide if the lip is too long or too short.
Portions of the seal will go down into the door when the window drops, and portions will not------same problem when raising the glass.
This would not bother me at all if the whole lip moved with the glass, but I have concers about the lip "taking a set" and looking like crapola later.

The inners are an issue all to themselves, and are just no acceptable.

I installed power window regulators, then installed the sideglass.
cycled the windows (both sides) after completing every step.

install all the glass run channels----window travels all up into the glass run
install outer draft strip (rubber 'fuzzie')----full window travel
install inner fuzzie----window will not travel full up into the run channel.

I believe-----the inner fuzzies have much more 'fuzzie area' than the originals did, and are preventing full travel of the glass sash.

The original rubber is still in the sash, and I do not know if other styles are similar, but the rubber also wraps around the sash and actually makes the sash about 1/8"-3/16" wider overall. (both original and my parts car had the same sash/glass retaining rubber.

I think this extra rubber is hitting the fuzzies and preventing the glass to run all the way up.

Who out there makes some fuzzies that are right for the car???

Changing to power windows did NOT do this, the fuzzies will not allow the glass to go all the way up.

(also----anybody know where I can get one of those bent 1/2" wrenches
so I can readjust my doors???)

Bryan, The fuzzies you have are for the 2 dr ht doors. The elcamino and sedans should have the flat fuzzies. Hinshaw knows the difference, I had the same trouble with my sedan, the glass would not go all the way up. The glass setting rubber for the sedan and elcamino is different. Its thicker and hange over the chanel, it hits the round type fuzzy stopping the window.

The outside rubber just does the rub thing on the glass. My sedan does the same, but does not seem to have hurt the rubber lip after 4 years.
