While backing out of my driveway the right front lower control arm broke right where the ball joint attaches. I'm having a hard time locating a match. This is a 66 with the large 1.9" rear bushing. Polygraphites were installed about a year ago and I'd like to transfer these from the old arm to the new. I realize that many other arms will work with the correct bushing. But, as I said, I like to keep the current ones.

Questions:

Is the 1.9" bushing a common or uncommon size (the smaller bushing is 1.67")?

If I cannot find a 1.9" arm, will the car be unstable if I go with an arm using rubber bushing of a different size than the driver side has (it is 1.9" poly)? I don't think I can get polygraphite bushing for just the lower arm. I'd rather not buy a whole set.

I'm actually pretty happy the control arm didn't break at high speed. This is my daily driver and now I'm bicycling around :( .

I see that my questions were answered by David_396 (while I was typing my question) in the other topic on FLCA. Thanks. Looks like I need an arm from a 64, 65 or early 66.
