I have a 71 Elky and a leftover complete 79 Corvette IRS rear end with disc brakes from my previous Corvette addiction. Has anyone done this swap before and how did you do it? , Scott!

I saw a 84-87 4 speed style vette rear installed in a 68 or 69 Chevelle a few years ago. It looked like it took a bit of fabrication to get the trailing arm pivot points in. The 84 uses a 4 bar style trailing arm assy. It looked like if you have the proper tools and ability it can be done.
