Hey folks,

I was wondering if there was ever stock coil-over shocks on any Chevelle SS? I had my 64 SS on the rack yesterday and saw that I have them on the rear. I ordered a new suspension kit from PSC and they do not have coil-overs. PLS let me know. :confused:

I really don't think so.

Those are load-leveler shocks you have on your 64,,not coilovers.

Definately aftermarket, not factory.Those are helper spring shocks designed to help restore ride height with worn out springs or when carrying a load.They weren't very popular,priced a little less than air shocks.Most people just chose the air shocks.
