Hello,

I was wondering on how to race the stance on my car. It is very even and low to the ground and I want to jack up the back some along with the front. Now I have gotten several opinions. One, is that I change to KYB Gas A Just Shocks. Two, is that I add another leaf to my spring. Three, is that I can put airbags in my springs. Four, is that I put shock extensions. Which one is right???

Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Brian

With the exception of air shocks, no shock will raise a suspension ride height. You can't add leafs if you are discussing an A body as they don't have leafs. Yes, you could add air bags to jack up the rear. No, shock extensions suck and have no place on any car-ever (and they won't help either).

Now, why do you want to raise it, did somebody lower at some point in the past? If not I have to wonder why anyone would want to make a vehicle handle worse  by raising it up?!? If it has been lowered and you want it to sit OE then you will need to replace the springs and maybe spindles if they were used. If it just sagged you could use shims to give it it's height back or replace the springs.
