Anyone know if the above mentioned steering boxes will bolt into my 67 Chevelle and work? Anyone know the possible ratios for them?? Anyone know the true meaning of life...??

Thanks Dave. Got the pitman arm. Any idea on ratios?? My stock box 67 is a whopping 6 1/2 turns lock to lock! Like turning a battleship. Thought I might try this first before going power steering.

I dont think the standard manual boxes will be much better, there is a quicker ratio manual box that was used on 69 z28s from what I have read. Guys over at the camaro forum would probably know more about it.

I think the standard manual box is something like 4 1/2 turns lock to lock. You can always have it rebuilt for better response! I've got one for sale off a 70 Nova if you are interested. Is is already POR15'd glossy black and even comes with some extra seals I found out I didn't need!
