In looking to upgrade my braking system I purchased 11" rear drum backing plates off of a '77 Malibu Classic station wagon with the hopes that they will bolt right up to my '68s 12 bolt to replace the existing 9" rear drums. Before I start tearing apart the 9" and purchasing all the brake parts for the 11" I thought I would ask if anyone knows if these 11" plates and corresponding brake drums and hardware will fit without any problems. I'm running 15" wheels so I know there is no problem there.
