I am installing a PST poly busing front end kit. I cannot seem to get the rubber housing onto the front ball joints? it will not push all the way down to seal? Is it supposed to just sit on there and then you tighten it all up and that is what seals it? Any help is greatly appreciated
thanks Perry

I just put on mine...do you also have the silver/galv. piece that slides over the rubber? I initially had the same concern, but used a dab of wd-40 on the rubber and slid the silver thing over the rubber to push it down on the joint, and clamped it all down with the bols/nuts.

They are hard to get on. If you're talking about the lower I just held one side down and used a wide blade screwdriver to push it down. Walked around the edge a lttle at a time. The rubber is pretty tough, not easy to cut or slice with a thick blade.

If your talking about the lower BJ boot.Put the boot on the ball joint then take the middle size adapter tube from the BJ press(notice its almost the same size as the boot) drop it over the boot then use a soft faced hammer to tap the boot onto the BJ.

Thanks for the help guys. I did just hold down one side with vice grips and then pushed the other side down with pliers.
