It is always hot here in the summer but the 100's have started early. Started working cows at 6:00 and finished going thru 130 cows and calves by 10:30. Not a dry thread on any of us and we sure smelled ripe.
Here are a couple of pics of me and the two "real" cowboys that help me .
Ya'll have a great one.

Sure is some pretty country there John....What exactly did you have to do to the cows and calves ?

65 weaned calves went thru the chute to get their 2nd round of shots. 65 cows were wormed and had 20 fresh calves weaned off them. 10 cows were sorted and moved across the road. Those fresh weaned calves and the mommas looking for them will make a bunch of noise for about 3 days. Certainly not a get rich quik scheme but is a great life.

Ha ha, the family and I are going to a "dude" ranch around Steamboat Springs CO in August to escape the heat. You can't imagine what we are paying for the privelege (sans heat) that you get to live. Color me jealous.
