What is a 1965 3:07 12 bolt posi worth? Code on the axle tube is CD0923B, casting # is 3859140N and the casting date is I104. It is a good working rear complete drum to drum.

I'd guess $500 - $700, maybe more depending on how badly someone wants a Positraction. Ratio isn't performance oriented but would make for a nice cruiser.

BTW, the ratio is written 3.07:1 (or simply 3.07) not 3:07. For every 3.07 turns of the transmission the rear wheels make one revolution and not for every 3 turns of the transmission the rear wheels turn 07 times. :thumbsup:

This coming from a guy who was looking a long time for a 65 - 12 bolt. I would think it would be worth a fair bit more. Those seem to be pretty hard to find. By those I meant the 12 bolt for 65-66

I have a 65 ss, and last year on e-bay, I bought the complete deal with a 3.70 posi, dana gears, thing was completely redone, I really wanted it. paid $1675.00 with shipping from Iowa
