All,

I'm in the process of replacing front and rear coil springs and shocks on my '65 SS. I have received a quote from coilsprings.com for 1.5" front drop / 1" rear drop - this is what I think will work for my setup.

I also contacted KYB to ask if there was a different part/n for lowered springs for my application. They gave me KG5504 rear and KG5458 for the front.

So, the question is this: has anybody ordered this combo of shocks for a lowered suspension before and if so, are you satisfied with the results?

i used a stock kyb shock on my car its lowered 2 in in the front

Ditto with me. Just the stock part number with a 2" dropped front.
