does anyone know if there is any difference in ss cowl tag info oppose to a regular 2 dr chevelle? thanks

The SS was just an option in 1970 so there is nothing on the tag that points to this option unless you have a car built in Canada. But there are things that would rule out an SS being an option on the car, for instance the model 13437 can not be an SS because it was N/A on that model.

Again, from 1969 on the SS was just a option like every other option such as radio, tinted glass etc. GM did not consider the SS a model anymore.

So every Chevelle that was optioned with a SS pkg (Z25 or Z15) in 1970 with have the following model on the trim tag next to ST 13637 or 13667.:thumbsup:
But so will all Malibu's
