How can I tell If I have a bad brake booster? The pedal only goes down like 2inches before Im completely stopped, so its very touchy. I pulled the engine last week and am trying to clean up the engine bay and was wondering is there anyway I can see if my booster is bad?

Make sure that you have good vacuum from the manifold and also take a look at you booster check valve, air should flow one way only into the booster.

Easy way to check.
pump brakes down with engine off=should have a hard pedal.
now with foot on the brake start engine (or apply vacuum to booster.
Pedal should move towards the floor.
If it does your boosters good. if you get no movement boosters bad.
