Here is the situation.
I just brought my car to the mechanic to have the motor pulled so that the oil pan could be replaced (leak). While it was there, the drive shaft was replaced as well as the pinion seal. All gauges were accurate and working when I dropped the car off. When I picked it up, the gas gauge is well past full and @ 3:00. The gas gauge light works but the gauge isn't. Where do I begin to troubleshoot? Could a fuse have been blown? I looked at the fuse panel and didn't see anything labeled gas gauge or something similar. I trying to rule everything else out before I drop the tank.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Keith
