Can it be done with just basic tools?

I've got a 91 caprice wagon daily driver that needs both front rotors. I have a set of wheels from my chevelle I wish would fit on it.

I could get 1LE camaro rotors to change the front to 4 3/4" bolt pattern but the rear axles and drums would need to be drilled to 4 3/4" before I could put these wheels on the rear.

Anyone tried it? smile.gif Anyone tried it with the axles still on the car? :D

Another option. You could redrill the wheels, but have a machine shop do it. I have done this with great results.

The style of the wheels would not allow me to re-drill, unless I wanted them to become uni-lugs (which I don't)

I think I'm just going to buy wheel-vintiques 5 on 5 chevy ralley wheels

NO Derek, you'll regret it. Running different lug patterns has caused many a tech (or backyard mochanic) big headaches. Just do it correctly the first time and pull the axles.
