Can a set of 1980 Trans am spindles be made to fit my 66 chevelle? if so how? and is it worth it? I have the complete brake setup from the T/A along with the rear disks. Trying to keep it low budget. Thanks

Bill,

The spindles from the Firebird would be the Tall Spindles that gets allot of attention around here. If you search here you will get a TON of reading on the Tall Spindle swap. The best description on what needs to be done to use them is here. (http://www.globalwest.net/1964-72%20disc_brake_conversion_informatio.htm) You will need a new lower ball joint, outer tie rod end, and an aftermarket upper control arm.

Checkout my webpage, it is not a complete Tall Spindle swap, but you can get some ideas.

Good Luck.
