Just got a '72 Chevelle (black interior). The dash pad is in good shape, but I need the small pad pieces that go on the bottom side (drivers side lower and to right of cigarette lighter/ash tray). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you mean. The pad itself is 1 peice on a 72.

Attached a picture (not my car, just an example). Look at the piece that butts up to the top pad (to right of lighter and ash tray). Can't miss it (same material, color and texture of top pad). There's another one on far left side (left of headlight switch). You'll see it (not in this pic, but if you have this style dash) if now that you know what I'm talking about (I hope) :p

Called National Parts, Ground Up and Eckler's. All knew the pieces I was talking about, but said they DID NOT carry them, nor did they know who would sell them.

What the....... Why the heck would a place sell the top pad and not the other pieces?

What the .... those are part of the dash or dash carrier as some call it. They are not pads that are attached to the dash. Could be why no one sells them.

The 70-72 dashes are " The Dash carrier " and the " Dash Pad "....
The only parts that can be removed from the 70-72 dash Carrier is..
The glove box door, Ash tray, Inst. Cluster, Heating controls, and some other attached items.
The dash Carrier is " ONE PIECE ". YEP ,,, It is one big piece of plastic. If you are missing the part to the right of the lighter, I would say your dash is broken. A picture of the dash you are working on would help.

From your picture it looks like the dashpad is not seated down all the way. Thats a common problem with aftermarket pads & or carriers.
