I just bought a '68 Concours wagon. Can I call it a Malibu? I know I'll hurt someones feelings if I call it a "Chevelle". There is an emblem that goes on the left front betwen grille and hood. What is suppose to say? I tried asking in "wagons", but that's a dead zone. Someone stuck an El Camino emblem there and the owner insisted that was correct. Owner worked for GM when they bought it new. It's a 307/glide, factory air, power windows and remote mirror. They had wood grain sides removed and Earl Schieb (sp?) did a fine job of painting everything white including trim, radiator support condenser coil, etc.

You got yourself a Chevelle wagon. Yes, our wagons are Chevelles too !

Emblem on header panel is NOT correct. Header panel probably came off El Camino and emblem holes not filled and redrilled for correct "Chevelle" emblem.
