The center of the front crossmember on my 67 Chevelle is bent upwards about 3/4 inch.
I need to figure out a way to bend it down so that I can install the factory centerlink correctly. any ideas?

Scratch that, I thought you meant the tranny crossmember. Good luck!

I personally wouldn't go to heating and bending to fast....Have you had any of the steering linkage including steering box off? Throw some weight (600 lbs. or so) on the front of the car and see what that does. Its hard to tell from the pictures but it doesn't appear bent. If the problem persist take it to a good frame shop who understands our old heaps and have them adjust it professionally. You want to make sure you correct the real issue if any and not mask it with incorrect adjustments....Nice pic's of a correct big block only brake line on the passenger side by the way....This really isn't a good place to experiment with repairs.
