I will be redoing my suspension once I complete my 12" C4 disc brake conversion.
My plan was to drive the 64 while I used the parts from the 65 to mock up the brake conversion. The 65 parts would cleaned up, with new bushings and joints installed, etc then whole setup swapped to my 64 over the weekend.
After disassembling the front suspension off the 65, The upper control arms are rusty pos's with one arm that has a nasty defect by one of ball joints.
My wife said to get something new after telling her about the 65 upper arms. graemlins/thumbsup.gif I did a search and found people with later years using them but did not see any for earlier chevelles.
The adjustable length feature appeals to me as I have practially no shims left between the frame and crossbars. Since I would be most likley buying offset crossbars anyways, why not put that money towards some new arms. Any grinding to frame? Any concerns? Thanks - John
