I just put in my new (OEM) floor shifter. I wired up the reverse lights, I get no spark. If I take the two purple wires from the connector and touch them together, the car will start. I can separate them after it is started, and it stays running. I have reverse lights, but it will start in park, reverse, first etc... There is a TH350 in there, but the shifter is for a PG tranny. This of course is not the problem. Any ideas?
